
Dr. Tim Carpenter
Dr. Tim Carpenter is a highly experienced forensic economist specializing in the valuation of economic damages across a wide array of legal cases.
In addition to his professional practice, Dr. Carpenter is a Professor of Finance at Roanoke College, where he leverages his expertise to educate future financial professionals. With a proven track record in personal injury, wrongful death, wrongful termination, discrimination, defamation, business lost income, divorce, and asset valuation cases, Dr. Carpenter brings precision and credibility to complex financial analyses.
Dr. Carpenter has particular expertise in Federal Employers' Liability Act (FELA) cases and the economic evaluation of life care plans, providing critical insights to support attorneys and their clients. He has been qualified as an expert witness in both Federal and State courts in Virginia and Tennessee, where his testimony regarding the valuation of economic damages has been instrumental in achieving favorable case outcomes. His academic and professional experience provide him with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in a clear and accessible way, ensuring attorneys, judges, and juries fully understand the implications of his analyses.
